CONCATENATE

Combines several text strings as one text string

Syntax of Excel CONCATENATE formula:
=CONCATENATE(text1, [text2], …)

In words:
=Combine(this text string, [and this text string also], and any other text string mentioned…)

Explanation

CONCATENATE function helps join the texts or other types of data as one to form one single text string. The values can be scattered in different cells or can be added manually while writing formula.

Examples of Excel Concatenate formula:

=CONCATENATE(“Profir for the month of”,H6,”is”,H7) where cell H6 contains the year and H7 contains the profit figure. This will return the whole as one sentence.
