Where to find free books for ACCA subjects?

To be honest, we have been bombarded with this question since last few weeks as many visitors were asking to have ACCA books for free. We would have never answered this question as nothing comes for free, especially exam standard study texts by renowned publishers.

But, surprisingly, there is one website which is providing ACCA books for free – Emile Woolf.

Emile Woolf, is a renowned writer and has written many books on different accountancy subjects. Now, there is a whole institute with this name and they are publishing books for all subjects of ACCA. As they have just started, they have made the books available for free.

But there is one thing which might make your excitement bitter. These books were published in 2010 and are according to 2010 syallbi, thus, were good only up to December 2010. But to tell the truth, you have still not missed the party altogether.

We understand that syllabus has changed, and its better to use updated books, but many subjects’ syllabi are not revised or revised syllabi are not applicable until December 2011. And also for the subjects with updated syllabus examinable in June 2011, we can still use old books as old books still cover 75-95% of update syllabus.

Therefore, our suggestion, to all those students who want to have free books, is that they should download these books and read the syllabus and study guide carefully. They must know which topics have been deleted, which have been added, and which topics got expanded. Also, student accountant magazine is a big resource especially for this term of exams as teachers are writing articles about the newly added topics and changes.
