Can I give professional papers with F7 and F8 or I have to finish foundations stage first?

If you have some paper(s) still left in your skills level then you will be allowed to sit in professional level papers only in one case i.e. you pay for all the remaining papers in foundations stage (skills level) and also pay examination fee for professional papers in which you want to sit.

Candidate cannot skip to the next level in ACCA without completing that previous level or without paying for the papers still left in the previous level also in addition to the papers of next level.

For example, in your case, lets say you have F8 left in skills level. Then you cannot go for professional level papers without completing F8. But you can sit in professional level papers if you pay exam fee for F8 also.

In easy words, your combination cannot be just P1 + P2 + P3 – F8.

But it can be F8 + P1 + P2 + P3.

You will have to include F8 also with professional level paper(s).

  1. Hi, I found this question on google search. I have similar question.

I paid for F8 Mar 18 exam but couldn’t sit due to personal issues. I am sitting F9 this June and I’d really wanted to continue the momentum by giving P4 in Sep 18. I have completed all other F papers.

Can I just sit P4 in Sep 18 or do I have to book F8 too in order to give P4?

    Thank you in advance.
