Best of Learn Excel in 2013 and Whats good in 2014?

Since the first day of PakAccountants.com 2013 has been the first year in which I seriously started writing about my long time love – Excel. And I am really happy that it actually started. I must admit that my fear that I will not do justice to this amazing software kept me from writing anything but once started I realised it wasn’t that difficult finding time for it and I regret so much that I didn’t started earlier. But its good that its late than never 🙂

Though the first post on Excel was made back 2012 but actual Excel work started in April 2013. And excluding this post 72 articles have been published. I was eyeing for 100+ by the end of the year but my ACCA classes had my feet fixed and wrote almost nothing from October onward. So learning from experiences next year I am making Excel articles part of routine so expect regular updates.

Two things that make me really happy are Learn Excel to excel facebook fan page and our newsletter subscribers. I published facebook fan page on April 22, 2013 and since that day we have 8,500+ fans that are rising in tens and hundreds every day and week. Really proud of each and everyone as your continuous following is the biggest motivation. So, if you are not following us on facebook then don’t forget to like us at: www.facebook.com/learnExceltoexcel. You can also follow us on twitter @exceltoexcel

Story is no different in case of Newsletter subscribers too. I don’t remember the exact date but I think it was back in July when we setup newsletter subscription system to deliver regular updates. With 450+ active subscribers the numbers are on the rise. Pssst! if I include unverified subscriptions then numbers cross 700+. Don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter because I am pretty sure that if you don’t you are bound to miss something important almost every day next year.

Though I doubt I am any serious Excel guru but numbers are impressive and evidence that some quality Excel guidance is available through our dedicated Excel page.

Now coming to more interesting bit and let me share top 10 articles of the year 2013. Each of the following article has been read by thousands some even having 10,000+ views to their honour. So if you haven’t read any of the following yet then I invite you to read all our articles starting with these top heart favourite 10s:

However, there is one big news that I cannot ignore sharing with you. In the last week of December 2013 we had our first LIVE Excel session in which we discussed Information Design in Excel. My deepest regards to Rahim Zulfiqar Ali who stepped forward and became the first to offer such sessions on PakAccountants.com. Do not forget to watch the recordings of this session that are available FREE of cost.

So this what 2013 was about Excel on PakAccountants.com. But I expect 2014 will be real serious IN SHA ALLAH in terms of Excel due to following reasons:

  1. We will be conducting free and paid live interactive sessions on Excel conducted by industry’s leading names.
  2. Arrangements are all set to launch our free and paid Excel products including books, booklets, templates and courses.
  3. Coverage of advanced areas of Excel that we intentionally not discussed in 2013 as we intended to get the basics done so that it is easy for everyone to understand the techniques at best.

Well this is what we have on the plate for 2014 so far and of course much will be added on the go.

I wish everyone great success and prosperity in the year ahead. And don’t forget to add your voice too regarding what should we do in 2014. Your participation always cheer us up!

Remember me in your prayers.
